Introduction

BurkeApp ("the Application", "we", "us", or "our") is a desktop streaming tool operated by BurkeBlack. This privacy policy explains how BurkeApp collects, uses, and protects information obtained through its use of Google API Services, including the YouTube Data API.

Information We Collect

BurkeApp accesses the following information through the YouTube Data API:

• YouTube Live Chat Messages: Chat messages from YouTube Live streams, including the message content, author display name, and author channel ID.
• Live Broadcast Metadata: Information about active live streams such as concurrent viewer count and stream status.

How We Use Your Information

The data collected through the YouTube Data API is used exclusively to:

• Display live chat activity and chatter information during streams.
• Provide real-time stream performance metrics and analytics.
• Analyze chat sentiment and engagement to help improve the streaming experience.
• Show aggregated statistics about stream chatters, games, and performance.

Data Storage and Retention

• Chat data retrieved from the YouTube Data API is processed in real time on the local streaming PC running BurkeApp.
• BurkeApp does not sell, share, or transfer YouTube API data to any third parties.
• Locally stored data may be retained for historical stream analytics purposes. No YouTube user data is stored on external servers beyond what is necessary for the Application to function.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share any data obtained through Google API Services with any third parties. YouTube API data is used solely within BurkeApp for the purposes described in this policy.

Google API Services User Data Policy

BurkeApp's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking Access

You can revoke BurkeApp's access to your Google account at any time by visiting your Google Account Permissions page. Upon revoking access, BurkeApp will no longer be able to access your YouTube data.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information accessed through Google API Services. OAuth tokens are stored securely on the local machine and are not transmitted to external servers.

Children's Privacy

BurkeApp is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of BurkeApp after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
